The brand new Edge meter by Hanna Instruments can be used with one probe to measure either pH, conductivity or dissolved oxygen. For maximum flexibility this smart slim unit allows use on the bench top, as a handheld or in a wall mount – whichever is easiest for you.
Edge Single Channel Meter for pH, Conductivity or Dissolved Oxygen
Each parameter pH, conductivity or dissolved oxygen is measured by a unique digital electrode. Simply plug in the electrode’s 3.5mm connector to your Edge meter and it will be recognised. The meter has the ability to store the sensor type, ID and calibration information for the particular probe. If you need to test an extra parameter, you can buy simply purchase an extra probe to suit your needs. Your Edge meter will check and notify you if the electrode is not clean, the pH bulb is cracked or if the buffers are contaminated during calibration using the exclusive Hanna CAL-CHECK.
Hanna Edge Interface
The unit makes measurement taking simple. To answer the needs of all customers there is a simplified menu for basic operation and a full features operating mode for those needing the advanced features. Additionally the large 5.5″ LCD display, captive touch keypad and clear full text readout gives an easy to read result.
The Edge has two USB ports; one standard USB for exporting data with a flash drive and a second micro USB port for you to connect to a computer for file export and for charging your edge when the cradle is not available. The unit can store up to 1000 records of data including readings, GLP data, date and time.
