Cold chain monitoring refers to the use of technology to monitor temperature-sensitive products transported in a “cold chain”- via truck, train or aeroplane. Without proper tracking of variations in key parameters such as temperature and humidity, the condition of perishable products during transport and storage cannot be properly monitored resulting in damage to the quality going unnoticed.
Ebro's EBI 300 series of data logger comes with a USB connection which is ideal to monitor the temperature and/or humidity during transport and storage of sensitive goods like medicine, food, serums etc. The EBI 300 and EBI 310 USB data loggers are suitable for multi-use, while the EBI 330 USB data loggers are a single-use version that can be ordered pre-configured and are used when returning a more expensive multi-use data logger to the sender after a shipment is impractical.
