About the range

Safe and easy dispensing of liquids from bottles without compromise

The new Varispenser 2 and Varispenser 2x are the ideal choice for dispensing aliquots of liquid from supply and reagent bottles.

Advanced sealing lip technology enables dispensing of nearly all kinds of acids, solutions or bases.

Available in 6 sizes for dispensing volumes from 0.2 – 100ml, these instruments are designed to consistently dispense selected volumes without reagent waste.

All Varispenser bottletop dispensers are fully autoclavable for maximized safety in your lab.

The Varispenser 2x has a recirculation valve which prevents reagent loss while ventilating.

Features:

Bottle-top dispenser with standard GL 45 thread for most common bottle threads in all sizes
Safety valve balls in discharge valve prevent leakage when discharge tube is not mounted
Air vent cap can be unscrewed for easy assembly of drying tube
Oval-shaped dispenser housing for easy transportation
PFA seal of the sliding piston prevents seizing up
Fixation slide on interior toothed track for rapid and safe volume adjustment
High chemical resistance of all dispensing components
Telescopic aspirating tubes for variable adjustment to bottle height
Fully autoclavable without disassembly
User adjustment option

Applications:

Liquid dispensing directly from supply bottles or other big laboratory vessels containing aqueous liquids, lyes, acids, bases or solvents

Eppendorf offers a variety of products complying to the IVD Directive 98/79/EC. If your lab work is predominantly a medical, clinical or diagnostic application, an IVD compliant product should be used. If your lab work is rather research oriented, a General Lab Product (GLP) should be used.

Functionally, the products are the same, however the IVD compliant product has a number of additional pieces of documentation and analysis to meet the requirements of 98/79/EC including:

Risk analysis procedures
Interaction with authorities
(Post) market surveillance
Additional labeling requirements (CE-marking according to 98/79/EC)

For the above reasons, the IVD-compliant products usually fall at a slightly higher price point.
