Type 305 SSVI - Stirred Specific Volume Index Apparatus for sedimentation/sludge analysis

The type 305 SSVI is used to determine the settling properties of an activated sludge. It is a simple and quick to perform test that can provide significant information about the sludge settlement characteristics. The SSVI can be used both in routine plant operation and it can be used for the design of a final sedimentation tank. The loadings can be calculated using the WRC developed numograph. A detailed operating manual is supplied with this equipment that specifies how the test is performed and how results are to be interpreted.

Consists of:

50 cm tall graduated measuring column
Slow speed timed stirrer
SSVI paddle
Detailed manual for operation

Requires the Type 311 power supply or the Type 324 battery pack (available separately). They can both run 2 Type 305 SSVI instruments simultaneously.

These options are can be offered with differing turn around times depending on the instrument type and your requirements along with loan instruments if available.
