Turbo rare-earth stir bars are identified by a black carbon spot, which is chemically inert.
Please note - due to the high magnetic coupling power in these Turbo stir bars, you may see erratic stirring effects like magnet migration and tumbling. The strong attraction between the stirrer and the drive magnet system can cause PTFE particles to form from abrasion between the stirrer and the container base.
Always begin at a low speed and gradually increase it for safe, stable stirring.
