These chemically resistant pumps make it possible, during evacuation, to expel the condensed fluid from the pump heads at high speed. The pump heads are ventilated via a solenoid valve, while the vacuum in the source being evacuated is held constant. After drying the pump reaches a better vacuum and is able to evacuate significantly faster compared to pumps without a drying system in place.
The N820 and N840 models require tubing with an inner diameter of 10mm to connect them, the N860 model requires tubing with an inner diameter of 12mm.
Vacuum pumps are found in many laboratories having a wide range of uses such as filtration, freeze-drying, evaporation and concentration amongst other uses. They come in a variety of sizes and functionality which can prove daunting to decide which is right for you particular use or is it uses?
