The PhotoLab 7600 spectrophotometer offers spectral analysis and pioneering OptRF - Optical Reagent Free technology for measurement of some parameters without reagents.
PhotoLab 7600 UV-VIS UV/Vis Spectrophotometer with reference beam for spectral and routine analysis in the range of 190 - 1100 nm, from water to wine and industry to research.
With optical reagent-free measurement OptRF of COD, Nitrite and Nitrate, AQA-Support, complex programming options for user-defined programs, multiwavelength methods, kinetics and spectra, USB + Ethernet interfaces, universal power supply with car adapter option for onsite measurements.
Proven analysis, and wide-ranging application support
Simple measuring: the PhotoLab 7600 UV-VIS from 190 to 1100 nm supports fast and affordable routine analytics by using barcoded test kits as well as round and rectangular cuvettes.
More than 250 programs for test kits (16 mm round cells and 10, 20, 50 mm rectangular cuvettes) with barcode and automatic cell recognition for all cuvette sizes as well as approx. 50 reagent free application programs.
Environmental parameters such as chlorophyll and application procedures for the food and beverage industry are supported by programmed methods and comprehensive programming options. With its multi-wavelength, spectral and kinetics measurements this meter is suitable for mixed applications as well as research.
OptRF - Optical Reagent Free measurement of COD, Nitrate and Nitrite
For the standard parameters COD, nitrate and nitrite, a spectrum in the UV range is evaluated by means of complex algorithms which are based on reference spectra. The result is put out directly as concentration reading, without the use of reagents. No potassium dichromate, no digestion - for quick testing. The composition of the water is very important for this calculation, since water is not equal to water.
The OptRF-methods are currently being developed for sewage plant outlets. They can be optimized for the respective municipal waste water matrix by user calibration via reference values performed with standard procedures like test kits. Depending on the composition of surface waters, the methods can be used here as well after testing and verifying with reference procedures. Being light-weighted and powered by car battery, photoLab® 7600 UV-VIS can be operated On-site easily.
NB this reagent free COD method is only applicable in some sample types, please contact us with details of your samples and we can advise. Can alos be used with conventional reagents - contact us for details
UVT and SAC analysis
For the UV-Disinfection as well as for monitoring of organic pollution these two parameters constantly gain importance.
SAC - Spectral absorption coefficient, is used to determine the sum of the dissolved organic water content substances.
UVT - Ultra Violet transmission, is an important parameter in UV disinfection control.
5 programs with and without turbidity correction are offered.
Optional PC-Software packages to support testing and results collection (photoLab color for color measurement, and data spectral for data management) are available separately if required.

Have you considered your servicing requirements? Much like a car, scientific instruments may need a bit of care to keep them working reliably and at their most accurate.
The Camlab Service Department have over 60 years experience in scientific instrumentation. We have a number of highly qualified internal and field-based service engineers able to perform a variety of jobs including preventative maintenance servicing and calibration.
Camlab can offer yearly service contracts which include two main types of preventative maintenance/calibration services – the back to base service and an engineer visit to your site. These options are can be offered with differing turn around times depending on the instrument type and your requirements along with loan instruments if available.
A typical preventative maintenance service includes the following:
Inspection and testing of the unit
Dismantling, cleaning and inspection of the key parts
Correction of minor defects including adjustments if necessary
Reassembly and testing
Take post adjustment / cleaning readings
Supply of calibration certificate
Return of the item to you (back to base services)
