Microslides are flat rectangular open ended glass capiliary tubes with precision optical path lengths. They provide a fast, clean, convenient method of collecting, examining and storing liquid samples. Capillary action instantly collects the samples which maintains a precision optical path length while being viewed at any angle.

Made from Borosilicate glass, microscope slides can be sterilised in an open flame. They may be used as a disposables or, alternatively, samples may be permanently retained for reference by fusing or cementing the open end. Large Size Microslides can be held by the microscope slide holder whilst small sizes can be secured on a microscope slide by a cement dot on one end.
