The titrating burette with splinter protection is a fast acting burette with Schellbach stripes based on Dr. Schilling's design with automatic zero point extraction and Bürkle dosing armature. The dosing armature allows for precise delivery and fine titration using either the press button or the micro-screw and precise discharge through the discharge jet.
Burkle's plastic coated glass burettes feature a plastic sheath, adding extra resistance and protection against breakages which also protects against splinters. The risk of breaking is much lower than standard burettes. This make them ideal for use in schools or manufacturing environments where glass fragments could present a hazard.
Each burette comes supplied in a sturdy plastic stand with plastic bottle to hold the titrant. The burette itself is borosilicate glass 3.3, while other parts in contact with the liquid are PE, PP and natural rubber.
