Sterile, stainless steel hypodermic needles with colour coding to indicate the gauge.
BD Microlance™ Hypodermic needles are stainless steel hypodermic single-use sterile needles with thin walls to reduce patient discomfort. Needles also feature a larger lumen to allow increased flow rates during injections and collection. These needles feature a luer lock plastic connector which can be connected to both luer lock and luer slip syringes.
Needles are available in a large selection of lengths and gauges.
Gauge with millimeter diameter conversion
- 14G / 2.1 mm = 1.950-2.150 mm
- 16G / 1.6 mm = 1.600-1.690 mm
- 18G / 1.2 mm = 1.200-1.300 mm
- 19G / 1.1 mm = 1.030-1.100 mm
- 20G / 0.9 mm = 0.860-0.920 mm
- 21G / 0.8 mm = 0.800-0.830 mm
- 22G / 0.7 mm = 0.698-0.730 mm
- 23G / 0.6 mm = 0.600-0.673 mm
- 24G / 0.55 mm = 0.550-0.580 mm
- 25G / 0.5 mm = 0.500-0.530 mm
- 26G / 0.45 mm = 0.440-0.470 mm
- 27G / 0.4 mm = 0.400-0.420 mm
- 30G / 0.3 mm = 0.298-0.320 mm
