Use Welch-Ilmvac vacuum pump oils to reduce oil change cycles and maximize performance.
Vacuum pump oil can become contaminated with ingested fluids and vapours - oil colour is a good indication of this, with clear oil showing good condition, and darker oil indicating it may be contaminated. Use recommended pump oil and change it regularly. Cloudy and discoloured oil will lead to premature pump failure.
Labovac 10 mineral oil is a standard oil for one and two stage Welch-Ilmvac rotary vane pumps to pump air, inert gases and noble gases.
