APPLICATIONS

As a replacement for cooling systems supplied with waste process water, to cool heat generated in processing, to control the temperature of apparatus such as centrifuges, microscopes, spectrophotometers, analysers, distillation apparatus, rotary evaporators, electrophoresis equipment and reaction vessels.

The units are supplied with an outlet for the reflux condensation of gases or as a cooling trap.

The flow coolers are fitted with a quiet, hermetically sealed, intrinsically safe, air-cooled compressor which requires no maintenance. A model with water cooling is also available to special order. The heat exchanger is made from non-ferrous metal for high refrigerating capacity, with inlet and return flow sockets for a 12mm hose connection and a M10x1 internal thread for a reducer to a smaller hose connection. The DLK 602, DLK1002 and DLK 2002 models have a 19mm filler with a vent valve so that the cooling circuit may be filled directly via the cooler or vented in the case of external filling.

May be used as closed or open systems.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Electronic controller with PT100 thermocouple and digital display.

Local control precision ±0.5°C. All models, except FR/DLK400, can be supplied with an external PT100 sensor at a small additional charge.

CASING

Special steel cover, galvanised steel sheet sides, electrostatically coated in RAL 9003 white. Fitted with a blue protective ring around top and bottom. Controls are front mounted for easy access.

ACCESSORIES

Silicone hose, heat insulated, 12mm diameter, maximum service pressure 0.5 bar.
