The Myron Ultrameter II multi-parameter meters are fully waterproof, accurate and reliable
The IP67 rated Ultrameters are waterproof and buoyant and can be fully immersed to 1 metre.
The advanced four-electrode cell for conductivity/resistivity/TDS eliminates polarization, allowing greater accuracy and stability with minimal maintenance.
New features on the 6Pfce
pH
pH calibration on the meter is performed at either two or three points. You should calibrate with pH 7 buffer first then followed by either pH 4 and/or pH 10 buffers. The recommended frequency of calibration of pH is every 2 weeks.
ORP
ORP calibration with the ultrameter is not necessary. Due to the hazardous nature of ORP chemical standards, the ultrameter features an inbuilt electrical calibration. Frequency: Never.
Conductivity (& Resistivity and TDS)
The meter itself measures conductivity and from this reading it can calculate TDS (using a curve of results) and resistivity (the reciprocal of conductivity). There are three chemical standards that can be used and this ensures accuracy across different application types. The most appropriate depends on the composition type of your sample and the parameter you are wanting a result for. The following standards are used:
Recommended frequency: monthly.
Free Chlorine
Free chlorine is not measured directly, rather calculated using ORP, pH and temperature measurements. Frequency - Every 2 weeks (pH).
Have you considered your servicing requirements? Much like a car, scientific instruments may need a bit of care to keep them working reliably and at their most accurate.
The Camlab Service Department have over 60 years experience in scientific instrumentation. We have a number of highly qualified internal and field-based service engineers able to perform a variety of jobs including preventative maintenance servicing and calibration.
Camlab can offer yearly service contracts which include two main types of preventative maintenance/calibration services – the back to base service and an engineer visit to your site. These options are can be offered with differing turn around times depending on the instrument type and your requirements along with loan instruments if available.

A typical preventative maintenance service includes the following: Inspection and testing of the unit
Dismantling, cleaning and inspection of the key parts
Correction of minor defects including adjustments if necessary
Reassembly and testing
Take post adjustment / cleaning readings
Supply of calibration certificate
Return of the item to you (back to base services)
