U-50 series Multi-parameter water quality checker enables to measure and indicate the monitoring result simultaneously up to 11 parameters with one unit. Tough & powerful design, considering user friendly field monitoring on site, such as river, ground water, drainage water, etc. bring together feature of function and performance, which makes simple operation for everybody.
Auto-calibration feature provides hassle-free calibration of pH, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, turbidity and depth.
Shock resistant cover designed for rough treatment in the field and is easily cleaned.
Cable can be easily connected and disconnected with quick-connect fitting.
Data Management
Auto hold function freezes average data values on the screen to offer more time to verify or transcribe data.
Diagnostic functions notify the user of errors.
Integral USB connection for data transfer to a PC.
Selectable measurement units allow the operator to report data without the need to convert data to desired units of measure.
Sensor Probe Unit
Multiple Sensors Housed in Each Probe
Multiple sensors allow for the measurement of 11 parameters simultaneously (pH, pH(mv), ORP, DO, COND, Salinity, TDS, Seawater Specific Gravity, Temperature, Turbidity, Water Depth).
Turbidity sensor U-53 conforms to US EPA method 180.1. Precision has been improved over conventional instruments. The model U-53 high precision filed replaceable turbidity sensor with wiper has a resolution of 0.01 NTU.
Turbidity sensor of U-54 conforms to EN ISO 7027. The model U-54 has a resolution of 0.01 NTU.
Improved stability of the dissolved oxygen sensor has been achieved with a new 3 electrode design for fast response and polarographic sensor for ease of maintenance.
pH and ORP electrodes can be replaced individually to reduce replacement costs

Have you considered your servicing requirements? Much like a car, scientific instruments may need a bit of care to keep them working reliably and at their most accurate.
The Camlab Service Department have over 60 years experience in scientific instrumentation. We have a number of highly qualified internal and field-based service engineers able to perform a variety of jobs including preventative maintenance servicing and calibration.
Camlab can offer yearly service contracts which include two main types of preventative maintenance/calibration services – the back to base service and an engineer visit to your site. These options are can be offered with differing turn around times depending on the instrument type and your requirements along with loan instruments if available.
A typical preventative maintenance service includes the following:
Inspection and testing of the unit
Dismantling, cleaning and inspection of the key parts
Correction of minor defects including adjustments if necessary
Reassembly and testing
Take post adjustment / cleaning readings
Supply of calibration certificate
Return of the item to you (back to base services)

What is conductivity? Conductivity is a measure of the ability of a substance to conduct an electrical flow through it. In water, many compounds and molecules (such as dissolved salts and inorganic materials) dissociate into constitutive ions. Ions are small sub-atomic particles and carry with them an electrical charge; either positive (cations) or negative (anions). These particles help condu...
Seawater has an average salinity of 35 ppt = 35 parts per thousand (equivalent to 35,000ppm or 3.5%). However the salt level does change depending on rainfall, evaporation, ice thawing or rivers, so the salinity can vary over areas, time or seasons. Camlab can offer two handheld meters which quickly and directly measure salinity up to the high levels required for seawater. [caption id=...
