TV400YK twin plate maxi vertical gel unit, cooled, casting base (20.5x20cm)

The TV400 dual maxi vertical gel system is suitable for 20 x 20cm gels. Enhanced features include cooling coil inside buffer tank to provide direct cooling of the buffer to improve gel and blot resolution (K version only) and finger stops on tank to provide a firm, positive grip during transportation.

The parallel clamping mechanism ensures even pressure is imparted onto the gel cassettes or glass plates thus eliminating any undue pressure on the gel and preventing lane distortion.

The gels are fully submerged in running buffer during electrophoresis evenly distributing the heat generated and improving gel resolution. To further enhance resolution, or to reduce run times, additional cooling is provided in the super cooled tank options which can be connected to a re-circulating chiller (K-ELECTRO4) to keep the temperature of the running buffer below room temperature.
