Description

Thermotech beakers offer the chemical resistance of PTFE, but also have a unique PTFE-carbon base for improved heat transfer and resistance to warping on strong heating.

The beaker body and all parts in contact with the liquid inside is pure virgin PTFE.

The PTFE-Carbon blend base is added in a single moulding, but gives;

Totally inert pure PTFE inner surface
Heatable to 280°C without distortion
Improved heat transfer

The PTFE used is also compliant with;

FDA - Directive FDA 21 CFR 177.1550
USP Class VI - USP 27, NF 22, 2004 for plastics at 70°C
