SDI calculations in just 15 minutes Ideally suited for reverse osmosis plants Enables calculation of membrane fouling time, backwash frequency and membrane lifespan
The Silk Density Index (SDI) is a measure of the solids or particulate content of water and is of specific importance when commissioning reverse osmosis plant. The SDI of the feedwater is required to calculate membrane fouling time, backwash frequency and, ultimately, membrane lifespan. The Lovibond® test kit gives the RO engineer instant SDI values, increasing the speed and effectiveness of the installation.
The kit utilises a membrane/flow meter system to enable SDI calculations in just 15 minutes. Sufficient membranes included for 100 tests.
The new Lovibond® Handbook of Methods comprise the currently existing 155 Lovibond® methods and explains them currently in nine languages.
Lovibond's new Handbook describes each method in detail, with step-by-step pictorial instructions. With an introductory chapter with basics about water analysis, references for sources and norms, suitable reagents including part numbers, explanations of potential interferences and much more, the Lovibond® Handbook of Methods will become your new “go-to” reference resource for water testing.
The additional advantage, each method contains a barcode which starts the test recognition automatically. The first instrument which maintains this user-friendly operating concept are the Spectrophotometers XD 7000 and XD 7500.
