The programmable HP61A hot plate has a milled-flat cast aluminium top which can be used in traditional operation or to heat solids directly on the plate surface in applications including wafer processing and annealing, polymer engineering, baking photo resists, wax and glue heating and bonding, micro fabrication and encapsulation and surface mount soldering.
Part of the EchoTherm range, this fully programmable hot plate is one of the most advanced yet easy-to-use units available. In manual operations users can simply select the parameter to be set and enter the value needed. In programmable mode, routines can be stored for instant recall and use.
The unit has a 10-program memory stored in CMOS, no batteries are required. Each program can be 10 steps, with each step including a temperature, time and heating rate. Each program can be repeated from 1 to 98 times automatically and infinite repeats are settable. The RS232 interface allows control or data recording by computer.
A platinum RTD temperature measurement gives ±1% accuracy and the unit has temperature ramping features for exact heating and cooling rates. PID temperature control gives 1°C control on the plate surface or in a solution using the accessory probe (sold separately).
Units are UL, CSA and CE compliant.
