Pipette Service and Calibration


Camlab can now offer our customers a comprehensive level of service and calibration on all makes of pipettes. The level of service offered can be chosen from the list below. We can offer a return to base or an on-site service and calibration. What ever you chose you will receive a calibration certificate for each pipette to keep you compliant For each level of service the pipette will be cleaned and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendation. A Calibration Certificate will be supplied for each pipette.

Minimum of 15 pipettes for “on-site” service.

No minimum for pipettes returned to Camlab, Service Centre (In-House).

Levels of Service

Level 1 ( 2.2 )

  • Full Service & Performance Check (Accuracy).
  • This level is recommended for Customers who require service & performance checks only.
  • 2 measurements are taken at the min & max operating volumes of the Pipette.
Level 2 ( 2.4 )
  • Full Service & Calibration ( Accuracy & Precision)
  • This level is recommended for Customers who are working to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.
  • 4 measurements are taken at the min & max operating volumes of the Pipette, allowing both accuracy and precision to be determined.
Level 3 ( 2.10 )
  • Full Service & Calibration ( Accuracy & Precision)
  • This level is recommended for Customers whose laboratories require calibration & traceability to achieve and maintain Quality Standards.
  • 10 measurements are taken at the min & max operating volumes of the Pipette, allowing both accuracy and precision to be determined.
Level 4 ( 3.5 )
  • Full Service & Calibration ( Accuracy, Precision & Linearity)
  • This level is recommended for Customers whose laboratories are GLP compliant.
5 measurements are taken at the min, max & mean operating volumes of the Pipette, allowing accuracy, precision & linearity to be determined.
