Micro 600 DO Meter with Kit (Includes Micro 600 DO Meter, 3m Cable Electrode. Supplied with Zero Oxygen Calibration Solution and Deionised Water, 2 Assembled Membrane Cap Housing, 1 Refilling Electrolyte (10 ml))
The Palintest Waterproof Dissolved Oxygen Meter is a state-of-the-art instrument for dissolved oxygen measurement. It is completely waterproof - it even floats! The determination of dissolved oxygen is an important test for water. Typical applications include environmental monitoring of natural waters, fish farming, the control of sewage and effluent treatment plants and the laboratory measurement of BOD. The large LCD screen on the meter displays the dissolved oxygen result in either mg/l or percent air saturation, and the temperature. This microprocessor-controlled meter features the latest in dissolved oxygen probe design and technology. Oxygen in the test solution passes through a thin permeable membrane to the sensor elements which comprise a glass-encapsulated platinum cathode and a silver wire anode. The probe also features a built-in thermistor sensor for temperature measurement and linear temperature compensation. Calibration of the meter takes only a couple of minutes. It has been simplified to a push button operation with the probe held in saturated air. The meter is supplied complete with spare probe membranes and probe electrolyte solution. The instrument comes with a soft carry case and a 3m cable length probe.
Servicing Options Available
Have you considered your servicing requirements? Much like a car, scientific instruments may need a bit of care to keep them working reliably and at their most accurate.
The Camlab Service Department have over 60 years experience in scientific instrumentation. We have a number of highly qualified internal and field-based service engineers able to perform a variety of jobs including preventative maintenance servicing and calibration.
Camlab can offer yearly service contracts which include two main types of preventative maintenance/calibration services – the back to base service and an engineer visit to your site. These options are can be offered with differing turn around times depending on the instrument type and your requirements along with loan instruments if available.
A typical preventative maintenance service includes the following:
Inspection and testing of the unit
Dismantling, cleaning and inspection of the key parts
Correction of minor defects including adjustments if necessary
Reassembly and testing
Take post adjustment / cleaning readings
Supply of calibration certificate
Return of the item to you (back to base services)
