Ratiolab Q-vettes - the new generation of cuvettes with clearly improved photmetric properties.
Precision molds with several cavities - one per cuvette - are used to produce the cuvettes under controlled conditions. In any one injection molding run several cuvettes are made simultaneously. In order to prevent deviations in the extinction coefficient values from occurring in any run due to increased stray light, the cuvettes are automatically sorted according to their numbered cavities of origin.
Each pack contains only cuvettes produced in 1 cavity. The corresponding cavity number is noted on each pack, so even for extensive analysis the same cuvettes can be used.
Disposable cuvettes are used in many labs where cross contamination of samples is a concern or where the cost of quartz or glass cuvettes is too high.
