Replacing water in your water bath, these thermally efficient pellets are easy to keep clean, enabling you to eliminate nearly all water bath cleaning and protects your bath from drying out.

The beads can easily be washed or sterilized - it is recognised that conventional water baths need regular cleaning, and all wetted surfaces need treating with a surface disinfectant along with frequent changes of water to reduce the risk of water bourne contamination. Bath Armor beads are easily cleaned in a disinfectant solution or by autoclave.

Using Lab Armor beads also avoids the need for racks or bottle weights as vessels easily stand up in the beads and can be repositioned instantly as needed.

NB - not all baths are suitable to use with Bath Armor beads, some must be used with water only. Even baths which can be used with beads may need to be put into a different mode, and temperature limits may apply. Please check the manual of your bath or ask us if you are unsure.
