Semi-Micro conductivity electrode With a measuring range of 1μS/cm to 200mS/cm this unique semi-micro conductivity sensor is a real generalist €“ ideal for direct measurements in small containers such as test tubes or micro titrations. Its 6mm diameter allows for a minimum immersion depth of 15mm in sample volumes as small as 300μL. The integrated temperature sensor does away with the need for a separate temperature probe by compensating for the difference in temperature between the sample and reference temperature. For correct results, immerse the sensor to the minimum immersion level marked on the probe.
The high quality of the Mettler Toledo InLab conductivity probes, combined with their easy handling, make them ideal for any kind of application. Furthermore, each conductivity sensor is supplied with a certificate, specifying the nominal or actual cell constant.
The InLab 731 is a carbon 4-pole conductivity probe with integrated temperature sensor and a 1.2m cable with mini-DIN connector. Operates over a wide measuring range so can be used with many different sample types. The rugged plastic body gives good protection in demanding environments.
The InLab 751 is designed for measurement in small containers, with a diameter of just 4mm. It also features an integrated temperature probe for automatic temperature correction. Accurate results in low sample volumes as small as 150µL. Supplied with a 1m cable.
What is conductivity? Conductivity is a measure of the ability of a substance to conduct an electrical flow through it. In water, many compounds and molecules (such as dissolved salts and inorganic materials) dissociate into constitutive ions. Ions are small sub-atomic particles and carry with them an electrical charge; either positive (cations) or negative (anions). These particles help condu...
