Range Overview:

The Hanna Instruments HI-977 range is comprised of a comprehensive selection of advanced waterproof portable photometers. Most meters in the range have the ability to measure single testing parameters with a few multi-parameter meters completing the selection. Each photometer is designed with an innovative optical system that offers superior performance in accuracy, repeatability, and the amount of time that it takes to do a measurement. Meters are simple and straightforward to use, with a large LCD display and intuitive interface.

• Measures Nitrite HR (0 - 150 mg/l)
• Easy to use. Each photometer is very intuitive and even has a tutorial mode for step-by-step instructions. Other user friendly features include error message displays when somethings wrong, built in reaction timer from reagent addition to when measurement is to be taken and display of the unit of measure along with the reading.
• Robust and waterproof. This meter will float if dropped in water and is IP67 rated. The internal optics are sealed from outside dust, dirt, and water.
• Large backlit LCD display (71 x 37mm) for ease of viewing in almost all light conditions.
• Portable sized- fits comfortably in your hand for field use but will also fit on a table for benchtop use.
• Utilises a high efficiency LED light source which offers superior performance compared to tungsten lamps. LEDs have a much higher luminous efficiency, providing more light while using less power. They also produce little heat, which could otherwise affect electronic stability.
• High quality filters ensure greater wavelength accuracy and allow a brighter, stronger signal to be received. The end result is higher measurement stability and less wavelength error.
• Large cuvette size with 25mm path length. The relatively long path length of the sample cuvette allows the light to pass through more of the sample solution, ensuring accurate measurements even in low absorbance samples.
• GLP data – recall the last 50 measurements on screen along with date of last calibration.
• Cal check functionality - validate the performance of the instrument at any time and apply a user calibration using CAL Check cuvettes made with NIST traceable standards. (Please note, CAL check standards are only included in the kit options. Otherwise they must be purchased separately to take advantage of this feature)
