Eppendorf Varitips® for Varispenser
Eppendorf Varitips ideal for Varispensers and non sterile.
About the range
The pipette tips for the Varipette are tailored to different vessels. For example, the Eppendorf Varitips® P are designed for aspirating 1ml to 10 ml from beakers, and it pipettes according to the positive displacement principle.
The Eppendorf Varitips S for 2.5ml to 10ml form a system with the Maxitip. This system can be used for aspirating liquids from tall, narrow-neck vessels.
Features:
- Non Sterile
- Varitips P for aspirating 1 mL to 10 mL from beakers using a positive displacement technique
- Varitips S: The dosing part, in combination with the Eppendorf Maxitip forms a system for aspiration of between 2.5ml and 10ml liquid from high, narrowmouth vessels – air displacement principle
- Valve for Maxitip ensures drip-free dispensing of liquids with a high vapour pressure
- Maxitip is graduated for dispensing accurate volumes of non-aqueous liquids
Applications:
- Pipetting aqueous solutions
- Extraction of liquids from deep receptacles
- Transfer of organic liquids (alcohols, org. acids etc.)
- Transfer of solvents with high vapor pressure (e.g. diethyl ether)
- Transfer of liquids with high density
- Transfer of viscous liquids

Shelf Life
Below are the minimum shelf lives for the ranges of Eppendorf consumables. Please note, shelf life can only be guaranteed for sealed and adequately stored items (stored at room temperature, out of direct sunlight, please check each items individual Instructions for use for full storage guidance).

Lot certificates are available to download here for the following grades - Sterile, PCR Clean, Biopur and Protein-free which are issued by an external accredited lab. The lot number is located on the label on the folding box containing the plastic consumable.
