About the range:

The Reference 2 is Eppendorfs premium pipette line boasting state of the art technology combining robustness, ergonomics and accuracy. Unlike most pipettes on the market, the Reference 2 features a single button operation for aspiration, dispensing and tip ejection which aims to reduce user strain. The Reference 2 also has a stainless steel upper part making it able withstand drops and knocks. 

Features:

• Air cushioned multichannel pipette with 8 or 12 channels for accurate pipetting of aqueous solutions.
• Clear four digit volume display, with variable volume adjustment in the range from 0.5 - 300 µL .
• Robust design - stainless steel upper part helps to prevent damage caused by knocks and falls. The spring loaded bumbers means that the pipette is likely to stay in calibration despite a fall. 
• The one-button operation offers fast and ergonomic use with reduced operating effort and active aerosol reduction. To avoid accidental tip ejection, a clear haptic feedback is provided. You can choose to lock the volume to avoid it changing accidentally during tasks. 
• Secondary user adjustment is possible to allow for the most accurate pipetting of different liquids or other external conditions (such as altitude) without the need for a full calibration. Simply return to factory settings afterwards. 
• Fully autoclavable without the need for disassembly.
• Embedded RFID chip containing pipette and calibration data which can be read using Eppendorf TrackIT software.
• Low tip attachment forces due to spring loaded tip cone (this feature can also be turned off by the user if required). 
• Smooth shape makes cleaning and decontamination easy - ideal for working in sterile conditions. 
• Outstanding precision and accuracy - this means reliable results every time.

• Compatible with Eppendorf's epT.I.P.S. and ep Dualfilter T.I.P.S. ranges - available in a selection of purity grades and formats (such as bulk bags, individually wrapped and racked)

Options: 

• Variable volume models from 0.1µL up to 10mL
• Fixed Volume models from 1 µL up to 2.5 mL - ideal for repetitive tasks
• Multichannels pipettes in 8 and 12 channels for high throughput applications. 
• If you are pipetting a difficult or viscous liquid consider using the multipette.
