Hanna's New Digital Refractometers
Hanna’s new Digital Refractometers are designed to measure sugar (five types), salt (Sodium Chloride), and the refractive index. There are also refractometers available for the measurement of solvents and anti-freeze (Glycol analysis) in mechanical applications.
This range can be broken down into refractometers for use by fruit growers and importers, food and drink manufacturers, wine producers, mechanics, the wastewater industry along with pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing. In addition to salinity testing of natural or artificial seawater, aquatics, and those involved in environmental monitoring are catered for.

Hanna's Digital Refractometer combines form and function into one compact unit. Featuring a 1.5 second response time, the refractometer measures the refractive index of wort and converts it to °Plato with temperature compensation.
Hanna’s range of food refractometers includes the measurement of sugar and Sodium Chloride (NaCl).
The five sugar refractometers are ideal for analysing fruits, energy drinks, puddings, jams, honey, soups, tofu, soy milk and condiments. The Sodium Chloride refractometer determines the concentration of NaCl in aqueous solutions used in food preparation such as salad dressings, cheeses, milk, condiments, pickles, canned foods, jarred foods, soups, energy drinks, juices, brines and whey.
