Chemkey reagents contain the same chemicals and execute the same process steps as traditional Hach methods €” now delivered in a simple, self-contained package. These are currently designed to be used with the Hach SL 10000 Portable Parallel Analyzer (PPA).
Simply add your water sample into the stand, push in your Chemkey reagents into the unit, and lower the SL 1000 into the stand. A sensor on the bottom of the unit will recognise it's been placed into your water sample and draw up a water sample to carry out the test. This will then produce a reading on the front display. As many as four Chemkey sticks can be added into the unit to test different parameters simultaneously.
The system verification Chemkeys are used to verify the full system needed to run any measurement on the SL1000 (PPA). Multi-use Chemkey verifies system functionality for testing all available parameters in less than 60 seconds.
