Reliable coolers that extend the temperature range of stirred baths below ambient, add this coller to a stirred water bath for temperatures below ambient
The two refrigerated immersion coolers allow stirred baths to reach below ambient. They consist of a cooling coil connected to a refrigeration unit by a flexible pipe. Both sit neatly in the heated circulating baths through the bath bridge plate.
Both the C1G and C2G units offer continuous heat extraction with the bath control unit controlling the temperature. These are compatible with the Grant Instruments Optima thermostatic controllers T100, TC120, TX150 and TXF200.
The cooling coil can continuously immersed in liquids up to 100°C with the cooler switched off and may be used to cool down from 100°C but it is not designed for continuous operation above 40°C.
