The Omni Bead Ruptor 24 Elite is the newest generation of bead mill homogenizers.

The Omni Bead Ruptor Elite, improves on our popular Bead Ruptor 24 with the addition of an intuitive touch-screen interface that allows users to easily monitor and control homogenization preferences. The touchscreen is customizable with programmable protocol settings for speed and processing energy, time, the number of runs, and dwell (or pause) between cycles. The Elite’s eight-gigabyte memory allows users to designate and store over 100 protocol settings with customized titles for maximum repeatability. The user interface is multilingual and features a usage tutorial and a ‘quick-run’ feature for fast and simple processes.

The Bead Ruptor 24 Elite is the most advanced and powerful bead mill homogeniser available. It is designed for grinding, lysing, and homogenizing biological samples prior to molecular extraction. Available with a wide range of accessories the Bead Ruptor 24 Elite enables processing of samples in volumes ranging from 0.5 mL to 50 mL. The optional Bead Ruptor Cryo Cooling Unit (19-8010) is designed to prevent the increase of sample temperature during the homogenization process.

Omni Bead Ruptor 24 is ideally suited to DNA/RNA extractions, tissue homogenisation, exnzyme isolates, protein purification, food safety testing, drug detections and qPCR, RT-PCR preparations.

The Bead Ruptor 24 is supplied as the motor unit only with tube carriages (at extra cost) in varied sizes according to the tubes used.

  • 50 ml tube carriage takes 3 x 50ml tubes (item 1198363) -  with the knurled knob which holds it securely, if only the tube carriage is required use code 1198385
