3M™ H8 Headgear Ratchet Adjustment

This high strength thermoplastic crown for perfect impact resistance over different temperatures has a precision ratchet adjustment headband for a comfortable, snug fit. Paired with one of the WP series Visors the system offers protection from various optical hazards, chemical splashes and flying particles.

The H8 Headgear has a 5 position crown strap giving additional support and comfort, an easy visor replacement system and is lightweight at just 222g

The 3M series of WP Visors (sold separately) are designed to meet the requirements of a range of Industrial applications. When fitted to the H8 headgear the visors offer protection from a range of hazards.

• Approved for protection against low energy impacts from flying particles according to EN166:2001
• Materials are selected to offer industry specific options
• The visors can be used in a wide range of applications, including chemical handling, construction and industry.
• The WP Visors meet the requirements of the PPE directive (89/686/EEC) and are thus CE marked.
• Maximum recommended shelf life: 5 years
• The visors meet the following requirements of EN166:1995, where the visor and frame markings to not match the lowest level of protection applies.
