The Omni Î¼Hb Micro Homogenizer is a hand-held battery powered rotor-stator homogenizer designed for use inside or outside of a laboratory setting. The Î¼Hb is powered by 12 volt lithium ion battery that provides operating speeds from 10,000 to 35,000 rpm for rapid homogenization of samples in volumes from <200 Î¼L to 100 mL. The Î¼Hb is an ideal solution for field based homogenization procedures involving the processing of tissues, faeces or soft plant material. Compatible with stainless steel generator probes from 5 mm to 10 mm or disposable 7 mm Omni Tip„¢ plastic generator probes for customers concerned with cross contamination. Hybrid generator probes are also available for applications requiring the durability of stainless steel with the convenience and cleanliness of plastic probes.

The µHB is battery operated for mobility in field-testing. It is optimal for environmental samples but can handle a wide range of other applications including biological and cellular analysis and soft tissue or medical diagnostics.
Compatible with patented Omni Tip Plastic Homogenizer probes as well as 5, 7 and 10mm size stainless steel homogenizer probes.
