Disposable, sterile filter units with polystyrene housing and PES membrane with a pore size of 0.45µm. They are ideal for biological and pharmaceutical sterilisation requirements. Both the upper chambers and receivers are graduated. Has side arm with cellulosic vent plug and quick-disconnect tubing adapter. PES membranes offer better chemical resistance, deliver high flow rates, are low protein binding and low in extractables. Non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic.
Tubing of 6-7mm inner diameter is required to connect the filter unit a vacuum pump.
