How does it work?

The Mini UniPrep comes pre-assembled and comprises of a 0.4ml capacity chamber and plunger. The plunger has a filtration membrane fitted at one end, and a preattached cap/septum at the other.

When the plunger is pressed through the sample in the outer chamber (by hand or using a multi-vial compressor) the pressure forces the filtrate through the filter into the reservoir of the plunger. Air escapes through the vent hole until the locking ring is engaged, giving an air tight seal.

Within seconds the Mini UniPrep is ready to load into the autosampler.
